NaamJap ("the App") is an offline-first Japa (Naam Jap) counter. We built the App to be calm, private, and distraction-free.

Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information.

The App does not require an account, does not ask for your name/email/phone number, and does not collect identifiers for tracking.

Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following locally on your device only to function:

  • •Settings (e.g., theme mode, daily target, gesture preset, vibration preference)
  • •Session history (e.g., date/time, japa counts, mālā totals, duration)

This data stays on your device unless you choose to share it manually (e.g., screenshots).

Analytics, Ads, and Tracking

No analytics SDKs
No ads
No tracking
No third-party data sharing

Network Access

The App is designed to work offline. If your device is connected to the internet, the App still does not send your session data to us.

Permissions

Depending on your device, the App may use:

  • •Vibration/Haptics: to provide feedback when a mālā is completed (if enabled)

We do not use permissions to collect or transmit your personal data.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because all data is stored locally:

  • •Your data remains on your device until you delete it.
  • •You can remove the App to delete its locally stored data (subject to your OS behavior/backups).

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If we ever change how the App handles data, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date.
